Our purpose is to support and deepen the connection between regional community, fair food producers, food education, land stewardship and emerging farmers. As a non-profit organisation we aim to reinvest revenue from our projects and events into regional fair, ethical and sustainable farming and food. Barwon Fair Food Network welcomes project suggestions from regional farmers, makers and community.
Pako Farmers Market is our first initiative and offers a central farmer’s marketplace in Geelong providing healthy and nutritious food and the opportunity for regional producers and community to come together.
Barwon Fair Food Network recognise the passion, work and dedication by our committee members in establishing the Pako Farmers Market.
The Pako Farmers Market is our first major initiative. It supports regional producers, farmers, manufacturers and processors.
Pako Farmers Market is on every 2nd and 4th Saturday 8am to 1pm at Ashby Primary School Geelong West.
We're thrilled to have these great people directly involved in making it all happen.
Our billboards for Pako Farmers Market have been generously supplied by Buxtons Real Estate.
